Nizamabad, March 27 (RAHNUMA): Sri Rama Navami was celebrated with grandeur across Telangana, with the celestial wedding of Sita-Rama held at the historic Sri Raghunatha temple (also known as Quilla Rama Temple) in Nizamabad.
In a rare show of unity, leaders from different political backgrounds participated in the rituals. Telangana Jagruthi president K. Kavitha represented the bride’s side, while TPCC chief Mahesh Kumar Goud took part from the groom’s side, and they presented silk garments and glistening pearl Talambralu (sacred rice mixed with pearls) to the deities.
Devotees were offered prasadam, including traditional Panakam and Vadapappu, marking the festive spirit.
