Hyderabad, Sept.20 (NSS): Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao has demanded the Union government to conduct a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry into the allegations that animal fat was used to prepare the sacred laddu prasadam at Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Friday, Hanumantha Rao expressed serious concern over the issue and also questioned why the supply of ghee was given to the new ones instead of the regular contractor.
He asked the BJP government at the Centre that the CBI probe should be ordered to find out people responsible for the episode.
“God will not leave anyone who has done wrong. Since injustice has been done to God, whoever is behind this should be found out immediately and punished,” VH said.
