Hyderabad, Oct.6 (NSS): The Viswa Hindu Parishad has strongly opposed the Dandiya, a Hindu cultural event, as some organizations were turning it into a commercial event.
VHP vehemently condemned the role of police of Hyderabad, Cyberabad & Rachakonda Commissionerate as a spectator in the Dandiya events targeting Hindu girls in love-jihad conspiracies. The VHP demanded immediate cancellation of the permissions given by the police to hold Dandiya programs in pubs-clubs-private function halls with tickets.
In light of incidents of attacks on Hindu girls by Muslim bouncers, the VHP demanded that the police and organizers take steps to allow only Hindus in Dandiya events. The VHP made it clear that if the police & government fail to control the jihadist attacks on Hindu culture, the government will be responsible for the consequences of angering the Hindu community, said Dr Ravinuthala Shashidhar, VHP National Spokesperson.
