Warangal, July 4 (NSS): Former BRS party MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar today warned the ruling Congress government from harassing his party leaders and activists.
Speaking to media persons here, he clarified that a land site had been allotted to the BRS party office as per government regulations. He said during the tenure of the previous government, land was allotted to the BRS party office through the CCLA. He reminded that Warangal Urban Collector and Tahsildar had allotted the land as per the rules. “Since then, we have used the office for party programmes as per the policies of the government. “On Wednesday, we submitted the evidence to the officials in writing regarding the party office. In the past also, the Congress party office has been allotted a site, which is a park site. No party offices used for commercial purposes. But the Congress party office was commercially rented out,” Bhaskar alleged.
Stating that he has been an MLA since 2009 till the last assembly elections, he said no other party leaders and offices had been subjected to any retaliatory action on any given day. “I have resolved the personal issues of the workers of all parties. We have given cheques to thousands of people under CMRF for those suffering from illness. Apart from this, we have also given free injections to the Congress party workers when they are sick during corona. We treated everyone equally. Cases are being filed against the BRS cadres and physical attacks are being carried out. Now, they are trying to file false cases against me,” he alleged.
We have replied to the notices issued by the Deputy Commissioner. If the higher authorities ask for an explanation, we will give it to them as well. This office will be protected by the people themselves. We are ready to face everything. We will fight a legal battle,” he said. (NSS)
