Hyderabad, Oct.10 (NSS): BRS party former MP B. Vinod Kumar today made it clear that he never craved for political positions in his entire political life and added that his history was known to all. He wondered as to how CM Revanth Reddy, who put out his gun against the separate Telangana movement, was talking about him?
Speaking to media persons at Telangana Bhavan today, Vinod Kumar faulted the comments of Revanth Reddy that he was given a political post by former CM KCR after losing in the MP elections and made it clear that he was part of separate Telangana movement since the beginning of his career.
He said he resigned as an MP for Telangana and won again. “In Delhi, I tried to convince 32 parties for Telangana along with KCR. As chairman of the Planning Board, I have fulfilled my responsibility for the development of Telangana,” he said. Vinod Kumar said he was responding because the CM had made a mockery of his character.
“Though KCR gave jobs to the unemployed youth, we did not do any publicity campaign. When we gave jobs, the appointment papers used to go through post. They are now being offered at the LB Stadium. They are giving jobs as per notifications given by us and promoting them as their own achievements,” he alleged.
He claimed that the Revanth Reddy government had not issued even a single job notification after coming into power. “Can the CM say KCR did not fill up 1,60,000 jobs,” Vinod Kumar asked and challenged Revanth and Bhatti Vikramarka on the issue. He alleged that the CM had used the teachers’ recruitment programme as a political platform to do his politics.
