WE WILL STANDBY VICTIMS OF HYDRA, MUSI PROJECT: HARISH RAO

Hyderabad, Sept.29 (NSS): Former Minister & BRS party MLA Harish Rao today said the BRS party leaders would stand by the victims of Musi river beautification project and Hydra. The houses of the victims were inspected at Hyder Shahkot by Harish Rao along with the party leaders.

Speaking on the occasion, Harish Rao asked the victims to remain brave and not to lose confidence. He said the victims gave them the courage to stand by them.  “Three people have already lost their lives due to Hydra’s acts. Don’t be discouraged. Don’t take your life”, Harish Rao said, and added that they would prevent anything from happening to the victims’ houses.

Harish Rao recalled that in 1994, when the Congress was in power, it had given permission to all the             victims. He asked CM Revanth Reddy as to why the victims fall prey to his party’s mistakes? “The poor were given shelter, clothes and shade. But your Indiramma’s rule is trying to destroy the lives of the poor. The bulldozer kingdom is running in Telangana,” he alleged. He also suggested that the Congress party’s symbol “Hand” should be removed and replaced with a bulldozer symbol.

Stating that soldiers fight on the border to save the country, he said now they have to fight to save the houses of the poor. He told CM Revanth Reddy that the life span of his government was only five years, but the houses of the poor that the CM wanted to demolish were the hard work of a lifetime. He asked the CM to fulfil the promises he  made earlier like Pension for the elderly, rythu bandhu for farmers, Rs 2,500 for women, DA for employees.

Harish Rao said the Revanth Reddy government would be thrown out in the assembly and added that if need be, they would have an MLA in the area and protect the houses of the poor. He said the BRS party and former CM KCR would stand by the poor.
