Hyderabad, Dec.19 (RAHNUMA): Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka said that a team of Telangana officials will study the feasibility of setting up a thermal power plant at the pit-head of the Naini coal block being operated under the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL).
The Deputy Chief Minister held a special meeting with Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at a hotel in Begumpet, Hyderabad on Friday. During the meeting, he explained that a team of officials from the Telangana Energy department will visit the Naini area and prepare assessments, after which the State government will take an appropriate decision.
Energy department Principal Secretary Navin Mittal, Singareni CMD Krishna Bhaskar, Singareni officials Satyanarayana, Tirumala Rao, and others were present at the meeting.
