
Hyderabad, Aug.25 (NSS): Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said the State government is making all efforts to make Telangana a drug free State.
The Chief Minister on Sunday participated in 20 years celebrations of Brahma Kumaris – Shanti Sarovar programme and later, launched its community service projects in Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion, Revanth Reddy stated that the State government already constituted a narcotic team to root out the drug menace and people should fear even to utter the word -drugs in Telangana.
“Brahmakumaris are the mentors to Telangana government.We support Shanti Sarovar and renew its lease,” Revanth Reddy said.
Stating that the State government has already implemented the promise of crop loan waiver, the Chief Minister said Telangana is the only State in the country which waived off Rs.31,000 crores of farmers’ loans in just eight months.
“Gachibowli has been developed as a big city in just 20 years. I am delighted that Shanti Sarovar is located in the same area,” he added.
