Hyderabad, Aug.17 (NSS): BJP leader Alleti Maheshwar Reddy on Saturday dared Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy that he would quit politics if it was proved that the crop loan waiver was done with 100 percent in Telangana.
“Let’s go to any place, let’s have a discussion in the presence of farmers, if the loan waiver is completed, I am ready for anything,” Maheshwar Reddy announced.
Speaking to the media at the Assembly Media Hall here, the BJP MLA also dared the Chief Minister that If the farmers said that they have not received any loan waiver, Revanth Reddy should quit politics immediately.
“Is the Chief Minister or any other Minister ready for a public discussion in the presence of farmers in any village on the loan waiver scheme ? The farmers who have not been given loan waiver are protesting on the roads. But, Revanth Reddy is bringing new things to the fore to divert the issue. The funds meant for the Rythu Bharosa scheme have been diverted to the loan waiver, cheating the farmers for two crops,” he alleged.
The BJP MLA also demanded that the State government should give answer when the money would be given to farmers under the Rythu Bharosa scheme.
