Women Congress activists burn effigy of KTR at Nampally junction in protest

Hyderabad, Oct.3 (NSS): Under the leadership of TPCC Women’s Congress president Sunitha Rao, Women Congress activists burned an effigy of BRS leader KT Rama Rao near Gandhi Bhavan at the Nampally junction in Hyderabad on Thursday.

The protest was organised in response to the inappropriate comments allegedly made by KTR against women.

Sunitha Rao, addressing the protestors, condemned KTR’s past remarks and demanded an immediate apology. “It is unacceptable to make derogatory comments about women, and we won’t tolerate it any further. KTR must apologise immediately,” she said.

Sunitha Rao further warned that if such behavior continues, the party would face dire consequences, including potential defeats in upcoming local body elections.

The Women Congress members expressed their outrage through the symbolic burning of KTR’s effigy and vowed to continue their protests until their demands are met.

“If KTR doesn’t mend his ways, he will face severe backlash,” they declared.
