
Hyderabad, Nov.9 (NSS): Noted poet and film lyricist Dr Suddala Ashok Teja today said the whole history of the world was full of labour and added that the value of labour in human development and the progress of society was invaluable.
The 57th ‘Sharma Kavya ‘ programme presided over by Suddala Ashok Teja was organized by Neelam Rajasekhar Reddy Research Centre at CR Foundation in Kondapur of Hyderabad on Saturday. The event was presided over by Suresh Babu and attended by Cr Foundation General Secretary and former MLA Palla Venkat Reddy.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Teja said he was prophesying the Shram Sama Veda before the birth of the four Vedas. He said even before the modern katha he would not tie the ink flowers and akshara mala to the story of the shram poetry. He said he was now declaring the only working religion even before the religions that divide human beings were born. He claimed that the only religion that was formed before Christianity, Muslim and Hinduism was the proletarian religion.
He said he had written poems using mythological symbols. “Shramayana is the journey of labour, the wealth of Rama, the ornaments of Krishna wearing the flute, and the crown of Vishnu are also made by the living beings of labour. It is from physical exertion that song, dance and dance are born,” he said. Ashok Teja listened to his own bani ‘Shramakavyam’ and his lyrics impressed many.
The event was attended by the CR foundation secretary and former MLC P.J. Chandrasekhar Rao, Chennamaneni Venkateswara Rao, Treasurer V. Chennakesava Rao, NRR Research Centre members Desini Lakshminarayana, Joshyabhatla Kalpana, Kanakaparthi Jyoshna, D Krishna Kumari and others were present.
