Visakhapatnam, Aug.29 (NSS): Senior TDP leader and Bheemili MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao has made interesting comments on YSR Congress party leaders joining their party.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Thursday, he said, “YSRCP is a sinking boat. We welcome those who resign and join our party. There were some objections during the Visakhapatnam GVMC level committee elections. I have made it clear that from the point of view of development, the induction of some people will strengthen the party. Looking at the situation, there is no one left in the YSRCP except former CM Jaganmohan Reddy. The reason for this situation is Jaganmohan Reddy,” said Ganta Srinivasa Rao.
Meanwhile, sitting Rajya Sabha members Mopidevi Venkataramana and Bida Mastan Rao are all set to join the TDP. MLC Pothula Sunitha also resigned from the YSRCP. There are reports that some other YSRCP leaders are preparing to join TDP. In this context, TDP chief and CM Chandrababu Naidu made important remarks. Chandrababu said if anyone wants to join TDP, they would be allowed into their party, only if they resigned from their posts.
Palasa TDP MLA Gouthu Sirisha advised the high command not to take anyone into the party. Meanwhile, Union Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu said those who want development and come to work with them would be invited.
