Kabul, March 18 (QNA) – At least 63 militants were killed over the last week in airstrikes conducted by the Afghan police against armed groups in the eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan.
The provincial police chief General Abdul Rahman Rahimi told reporters that the militants were killed in parts of Nangarhar. He said at least ten militants were also wounded during the same operations and at least 30 people were arrested on various charges during the same period.
The militants were killed or wounded during the nine clearance operations, he said, adding that the security forces confiscated 108 bundles of explosives wires and 4,300 explosives chargers. (QNA)
