Chinna Reddy urges protesting DSC aspirants to present their grievances in Prajavani programme

Hyderabad, July 15 (INN): Telangana State Planning Board Vice-Chairman Dr G Chinna Reddy has advised youths protesting and holding sit-ins demanding the postponement of competitive exams to present their grievances through the Prajavani programme.

Speaking at the Secretariat’s media point, Chinna Reddy alleged that unemployed youths were being influenced by vested interests and some political leaders who were orchestrating artificial movements.

Chinna Reddy reminded the youth that their sacrifices led to the formation of Telangana under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi and assured them of a promising future. He urged them not to be swayed by political parties but to make decisions independently.

Highlighting the government’s efforts, Chinna Reddy stated that the Congress government has created over 30,000 government jobs shortly after coming to power, fulfilling its promise. The Group I examination was successfully conducted, and the results were released. Additionally, the schedule for the Group I main exam has been published.

Chinna Reddy announced that the DSC exam would be held to fill over 11,000 teaching positions, with hall tickets already issued. Another DSC exam will follow, appointing 9,000 more teachers. He emphasised that the government plans to conduct DSC exams twice to ensure the selection of quality teachers.

He noted that nearly 30 lakh unemployed youths have registered with the employment exchange, and they would receive technical training from the Skill Development University. He alleged that some coaching centre administrators are inciting protests and sit-ins among candidates for the Group and DSC exams.
