Hyderabad, Sept.27 (NSS): On the second day at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad, a face-to-face interaction programme was held under the leadership of TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud, with the participation of Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy.

Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy directly engaged with party workers and the general public, addressing their concerns. A large number of people attended, many of them bringing their grievances and applications to the event.

The Minister personally received the applications and took note of the issues raised. He immediately contacted senior officials, recommending swift action on these problems. From 11:30 AM until around 3:30 PM, the Minister worked tirelessly, receiving applications for nearly four hours.

In total, Uttam Kumar Reddy accepted about 320 petitions, which were later forwarded to the respective departmental heads, Ministers, MLAs, and senior officials by his staff for further processing.

The staff diligently registered the applications, categorizing them by department. The issues presented ranged from land disputes and concerns of those affected by GO 317 and Mallanna Sagar displacement, to grievances against companies like Sahara and DKZ Technologies. Requests were also submitted regarding pensions, ration cards and more.

Minister Uttam assured that special meetings would soon be arranged for ration card and health card-related issues, advising those with such concerns to submit their applications at these dedicated meetings.

Special consideration was given to women, pregnant women, mothers, the disabled, and the elderly, with separate applications being received for their concerns.

He expressed confidence that the people were seeking solutions through the party’s leadership and assured that all issues would be addressed swiftly according to established protocols. He also emphasized that this is an ongoing process and urged patience as they work towards resolving the problems.
