Hyderabad, Oct.15 (NSS): BRS party Siddipet MLA Harish Rao has questioned Chief Minister Revanth Reddy as to when he would pay the rent for gurukuls. “When will the CM, who is also the Education Minister, care about the deteriorating education system in the Congress regime? In Jayashankar Bhupalapalle district, the owner of the minority residential school was locked as the rent was not paid for the last 10 months. This is yet another proof that the management of gurukuls has reached a bad stage during the Congress rule.
The plight of the owner of a minority residential school in Jayashankar Bhupalpally can be easily understood,” he said. He also said it was yet another proof that the management of the Gurukuls had reached a pathetic stage in the Congress rule. He tweeted these comments on his official X handle.
He claimed that several Gurukul Schools, which are running in rented buildings across the State, had been locked up by their owners and added that the owners of the buildings locked the minority residential school and hostels in protest against the government’s non-payment of rent for nine months.
“Students and teachers who came to the schools after the Dussehra holidays are waiting outside. Residential schools, colleges and hostels in Tungaturthi, Bellampalli, Tandur, Warangal, Bhupalpally, Huzurnagar and Bhuvanagiri have been locked by the owners of the buildings. The State gurukul vidyalaya private building owners’ association demanded that all the dues be paid immediately,” he said.
