Hyderabad, Oct.17 (NSS): IAS officer Ilambarthi K took charge as Commissioner of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) on Thursday morning. On the occasion, GHMC Zonal Commissioners Hemant Keshav Patil, Anurag Jayanthi, Apoorv Chauhan, Additional Commissioners Nalini Padmavathi, Yadagiri Rao, Venugopal Reddy, Satyanarayana, Pankaja, CCC Srinivas, CPRO Mohammed Murtuja Ali, Chief Entomologist Dr Rambabu, Ravikiran, Venkanna, OSD Venugopal and senior officers of the respective departments greeted the Commissioner.
He later took part in Maharshi Valmiki’s birth anniversary celebrations. Ilambarthi paid heartfelt tributes honouring the great sage’s timeless contributions. He said Valmiki’s life and teachings would continue to inspire countless individuals, resonating deeply with followers who joined in commemorating this significant day.
