Hyderabad, Jan.1 (RAHNUMA): Director General of Prisons and Correctional Services Dr Soumya Mishra along with senior officers of the Prisons department, paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat on the occasion of New Year – 2026.
During the meeting, Soumya Mishra extended New Year greetings to the Chief Minister on behalf of the Telangana Prisons and Correctional Services department.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister formally inaugurated the Prisons Department Diary and Wall Calendar for the year 2026, brought out by the department. The diary contains important information related to the functioning and administration of the Telangana Prisons Department.
Soumya Mishra was accompanied by N. Murali Babu, IG Prisons, and M. Sampath, DIG Prisons.
