
Hyderabad, April 4 (RAHNUMA): The Department of Tourism, Government of Telangana, organized a special heritage walk from Charminar to Chowmahalla Palace here on Saturday, drawing participation from 60 women delegates of the Global Shapers Community from across India and abroad.
Participants from international hubs, including Chicago, Malé, Thimphu and Kandy, along with delegates from major Indian cities, took part in the curated walk aimed at showcasing Hyderabad’s architectural and cultural legacy.
The initiative, part of the state’s ongoing weekend heritage walks held on second Saturdays and Sundays, seeks to promote awareness and preservation of the city’s rich history. Delegates appreciated the immersive experience, highlighting Hyderabad’s vibrant heritage and cultural significance.
The Tourism Department stated that such initiatives are key to positioning Hyderabad as a premier heritage tourism destination.
