Hyderabad, May 10 (RAHNUMA): The 77th birth anniversary celebrations of the late P.V. Rao—the founding president of the Mala Mahanadu were grandly organized at Eturi Towers in AC Guards, under the leadership of Mala Mahanadu President G. Chennaiah.
Speaking on this occasion, G. Chennaiah paid tribute to the late P.V. Rao, lauding him for risking his very life to wage a relentless struggle for the empowerment and rights of Dalits. He emphasized that the role played by the Mala community was pivotal to the Congress party’s victory in Telangana. Consequently, he demanded that the government prioritize the Mala community in the allocation of nominated posts, establish a dedicated Mala Corporation, and allocate substantial funds for the community’s development.
He further noted that the 77th birth anniversary of P.V. Rao was celebrated with great enthusiasm, marked by a ceremonial cake-cutting. The event was made a success by the participation of chief guests and other dignitaries, including Mala Mahanadu General Secretary Bangi Anand Rao, Mala Welfare Association President Bathula Ramprasad, Ambedkar Association President Vinay, Bhanu Prakash, Nimma Baburao, Lalitha, Greater Hyderabad General Secretary K.
