Hyderabad, May 11 (RAHNUMA): GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan, accompanied by Zonal Commissioner and Additional Principal Census Officer B. Santosh, inspected the ongoing Census House Listing Operation at NBT Nagar, Banjara Hills in Hyderabad on Monday. Their aim was to evaluate the implementation at the field level and to ensure that data collection is accurate.
During the visit, the commissioner interacted with enumerators and supervising staff, and examined the procedures being followed for house listing and collection of demographic details and also directed to complete the process within one month, June 9, 2026.
RV Karnan emphasised the importance of conducting the Census exercise with utmost transparency, accuracy, and dedication, as the data collected plays a vital role in planning developmental activities and welfare schemes.
He instructed the field staff to ensure that every household is covered without omission and requested citizens to cooperate with the enumerators by providing correct information.
The Commissioner directed the deputy commissioners to cooperate with the census staff and assign the concern feild level officers, including Bill Collectors and tax inspectors.
