
Hyderabad, May 26 (RAHNUMA): As global conflicts increasingly shift towards satellites, cyber systems, artificial intelligence and electronic warfare, Hyderabad will host a major strategic dialogue on the future of warfare and national security at T-Hub here on May 29.
The third flagship session of Symposium, titled “The Day the Sky Goes Dark: Warfare in the Age of Satellite Dependence”, comes amid rising geopolitical tensions involving the United States, Iran and Israel. The event is expected to bring together leading voices from India’s defence, aerospace, technology and policy sectors.
The discussion will focus on how future wars could increasingly be fought in space and cyberspace, with experts examining threats to satellites, cyber-attacks, anti-satellite weapons, AI-driven warfare and the growing militarisation of space.
The session will be moderated by Lt Gen PJS Pannu, who played a key role in establishing India’s Defence Space Agency and Defence Cyber Agency.
The distinguished panel includes Dr A.S. Kiran Kumar, former Chairman, ISRO; Dr G. Satheesh Reddy, former Chairman, DRDO and former Scientific Adviser to Raksha Mantri; Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari PVSM AVSM VM ADC (Retd), former Chief of the Air Staff, Indian Air Force; Dr Subba Rao Pavuluri, Chairman & Managing Director of Ananth Technologies and Ronak Kumar Samantray – CEO and the Founder of TakeMe2Space
Adding a youth perspective to the event, Iniya Pragati Martian will participate as Special Guest and Distinguished Young Speaker.
Founded by Girish Mallapani and co-founded by IAS officer Jayesh Ranjan, ‘Symposium’ aims to create a recurring platform for cross-domain conversations on issues shaping India’s future.
More than 100 invited guests from defence, aerospace, startups, academia and policy circles are expected to attend the invitation-only event.
