
Vijayawada, June 6 (RAHNUMA): Industrialist Lingamaneni Ramesh on Saturday filed his nomination for the Rajya Sabha seat as the Jana Sena Party’s candidate, pledging to work for Andhra Pradesh’s development and address public issues through the Upper House.
Speaking to media after filing his nomination, Ramesh thanked Jana Sena Party president and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan for reposing faith in him. He also expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for supporting his candidature. “I will work tirelessly for the state’s interests and strive to resolve public issues through the platform of Rajya Sabha”, he added.
Jana Sena Party General Secretary and MLC Nagababu hailed the nomination, describing Ramesh as the right choice for the role. He said the entire party cadre was delighted with the selection and confident that Ramesh would effectively represent the party and the state’s interests in Parliament.
