Hyderabad, June 21 (RAHNUMA): The silver jubilee celebrations of Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute (BIACH&RI) will be held at the Novotel convention centre in Hyderabad on Monday.
The event, hosted under the leadership of Nandamuri Balakrishna, Chairman and Managing Trustee of the hospital, will be attended by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, eminent personalities from various fields, leading medical experts, philanthropists, and well-wishers associated with the institution’s remarkable journey.
The institution has so far performed over 8,000 cancer surgeries and 86 bone marrow transplants while providing advanced treatment across surgical, medical, and radiation oncology disciplines. The hospital also extends treatment under government healthcare initiatives such as Ayushman Bharat-PMJAY and other public health schemes, ensuring that quality cancer care remains accessible to underprivileged families.
