Mandaviya to launch new ESIC OPD block in Hyderabad on July 14

Hyderabad, July 12 ( RAHNUMA): Union Minister for Labour, Employment, Youth Affairs, and Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, will inaugurate seven Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) healthcare projects worth approximately ₹668 crore across the nation on July 14.
The Minister will physically inaugurate the newly constructed, state-of-the-art Outpatient Department (OPD) Block at the ESIC Medical College and Hospital in Sanathnagar, Hyderabad. From this venue, he will virtually unveil six other major healthcare infrastructure projects nationwide.
The virtual launches include upgraded hospitals and dispensaries in strategic industrial hubs, including Beltola (Assam), Sriperumbudur (Tamil Nadu), Rajamahendravaram (Andhra Pradesh), Surendranagar (Gujarat), Bhawani Mandi and Kota (Rajasthan). Collectively, these expanded facilities are set to upgrade medical infrastructure and deliver comprehensive social security benefits to over 53 lakh insured workers and their dependents across India.
Sushri Shobha Karandlaje, Union Minister of State for Labour & Employment and Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, will also attend the event.
The new OPD Block at ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Sanathnagar, is a landmark healthcare facility that will provide modern, comprehensive outpatient services to 12,30,183 insured persons and beneficiaries across Telangana, covering Hyderabad, Medchal–Malkajgiri, Sangareddy, Ranga Reddy and Mahabubnagar districts.
