Hyderabad, July 21 (RAHNUMA): Mizoram Assembly Speaker Pu Lalbiakzama, accompanied by his wife Vanlalruati, visited the Telangana Legislative Assembly on Tuesday.
They were received by Telangana Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar. During a meeting held in the Speaker’s Chamber, the Speakers of both States discussed the conduct of Assembly proceedings, legislative functioning, and parliamentary practices.
On the occasion, Prasad Kumar also briefed the Mizoram Speaker on the various development and welfare initiatives being implemented by the Telangana government.
As a mark of respect, the Telangana Speaker felicitated Pu Lalbiakzama and his wife with traditional shawls and presented them with a memento on behalf of the Telangana Legislative Assembly.
