Amaravati, Sept.4 (RAHNUMA): Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer on Friday congratulated ISRO scientists on the successful launch of EOS-05, described as India’s heaviest Earth observation satellite, aboard the GSLV-F17 rocket from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.
The Governor said the successful mission marked a significant achievement for India’s space programme and highlighted the satellite’s importance for continuous earth imaging, surveillance and national security.
He praised the scientists and engineers behind the mission, saying the achievement added “another feather in ISRO’s cap” and reflected India’s growing capabilities in advanced space technology.
