Hyderabad, Sept.9 (NSS): Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar on Monday issued an order appointing Serilingampally MLA Arekapudi Gandhi as the Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the Legislative Assembly.
According to a release here issued by Legislature Secretary V Narasimha Charyulu, Kodada MLA Nalamada Padmavathi Reddy is appointed as the Chairperson of Estimates Committee and Shadnagar MLA K Shankaraiah as the Chairman of Public Undertakings Committee. The each committee consists 13 Members, including Chairman and Chairperson.
The release also stated that all members of the Telangana Legislature have been informed that in terms of Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Telangana Legislative Assembly as well as Legislative Council and the Members have been elected to the three Financial Committees respectively for the Financial Year 2024-2025 and also in accordance with the said Rules.
