Hyderabad, Nov.5 (NSS): Padma Shri Krishna Kumar, former Director, National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) will be delivering Azad Day Memorial Lecture which is being organized by Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) on November 11 in connection with National Education Day.
This year MANUU is celebrating the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first education minister of independent India, as Azad Day Celebrations (ADC) from November 7 to 11.
According to Prof. Syed Alim Ashraf, Chairperson, ADC & Dean, Student’s Welfare, the inaugural function will be held at MANUU Model School, Hyderabad on November 7, 11.00 am. The other programmes of the celebrations include Film Screening, Book release, Storytelling, IT Expo, Debate, Book and Photo Exhibition, Panel discussion, Open Mic, Calligraphy competition, Baitbazi, Play on Maulana Azad, Cultural programs for staff children, Literary Readings, Musical evening, Food fest and Mushaira.
