
Hyderabad, June 15 (RAHNUMA): Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka on Monday celebrated his birthday in a warm and meaningful manner among students.
He visited the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) in Moinabad, Rangareddy district and celebrated his birthday amidst the smiles of government school girls, earning admiration from those present.
On the occasion, Bhatti Vikramarka, along with Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, sat and shared lunch with the students. He personally interacted with them and enquired about the quality of the food being served.
Addressing the gathering, Bhatti Vikramarka said the people’s government views the future of children as the future of the state. He announced that the Breakfast Scheme for 29 lakh government school students across Telangana would be implemented from June 15.
He also stated that a midday meal scheme has been introduced for students studying in government junior colleges (Intermediate level) and the government is providing quality education, uniforms, and shoes to students in government schools and welfare hostels, ensuring they are on par with those studying in private corporate schools.
Local MLA Kale Yadaiah, Government Whip Patnam Mahender Reddy, Shadnagar MLA Veerlapalli Shankar, Corporation Chairpersons Challa Narasimha Reddy, Anvesh Reddy, Kotnak Tirupati, CWC member Rudraraju, Library Chairman Madhusudan Reddy, School Principal Jayashree, and several other dignitaries attended the programme.
