
Hyderabad, May 26 (RAHNUMA): The Cabinet Sub-Committee has directed officials to organise the closing celebrations of the prestigious 99-day public outreach program “Praja Palana – Pragati Pranalika” in a grand manner across the state from June 2 to June 12, marking its successful completion.
A Cabinet Sub-Committee meeting was held on Tuesday at the Secretariat under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu. Ministers N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, and Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy attended the high-level review meeting.
The Sub-Committee reviewed the progress of “Praja Palana – Pragati Pranalika” programs conducted so far at village, mandal, constituency, and district levels. Officials were instructed to take up more initiatives with active public participation in the coming days.
Programmes scheduled from June 2 to 12 include, environment week celebrations, road safety awareness, anti-drug campaigns, women and child protection initiatives, housing programmes, tourism promotion, urban development activities and foundation stone laying and inauguration of renewable energy (green energy) projects.
The Ministers emphasised that all departments must work in coordination and ensure flawless execution of these activities.
The Sub-Committee held detailed discussions on the implementation of the “Indiramma Family Life Insurance” scheme, introduced to provide social security to every family in the state. The government reiterated its commitment to ensure that every eligible person is covered under the scheme.
Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao directed all departments to immediately prepare and submit detailed action plans.
The meeting was also attended by DGP C.V. Anand, Special Chief Secretaries Jayesh Ranjan, Vikas Raj, Naveen Mittal, Vani Prasad, Dana Kishore, and Principal Secretaries Sandeep Kumar Sultania, Gaurav Uppal, along with other senior officials.
