Hyderabad, July 5 (NSS): CPI State secretary and Kothagudem MLA Koonamneni Sambasiva Rao today participated in the dharna in front of Singareni Bhavan. As part of the dharna in front of Singareni Bhavan in Hyderabad’s Lakidi kapool area as part of the siege of the collectorates with the slogan of Singareni Bachao across the state.
Speaking on the occasion, he alleged that the BJP was conspiring to make Singareni disappear in this Telangana region which has a history of many years. He said that the process of extracting coal in Singareni should not be given to private companies immediately and added there should not be an auction. He said that they would continue several rounds of agitations to save the Singareni and added that if necessary, a Telangana bandh would also be called. He urged the Telangana state government to also stand responsible for it.
