Hyderabad, May 8 (RAHNUMA): Cyberabad Police SHE Teams conducted 99 decoy operations between May 2 and May 7, catching 32 persons allegedly involved in indecent behaviour at public places.
Police registered 42 petty cases and counselled others. The SHE Teams also received 17 complaints from women through various channels during the period.
The Cyberabad Anti Human Trafficking Unit rescued three victims and arrested six accused in three PITA cases. In separate Juvenile Justice Act cases, four boys were rescued and four accused were apprehended.
Authorities said Family Counselling and CDEW Centres helped reunite 33 couples involved in family disputes.
As part of awareness initiatives, SHE Teams and the Anti Human Trafficking Unit organised programmes across Cyberabad, reaching nearly 1,685 participants. Sessions covered issues including human trafficking, cyber bullying, stalking, child rights, cyber frauds and emergency helpline awareness.
