Sangareddy, Nov.29 (NSS): BJP MP DK Aruna today questioned as to why CM Revanth Reddy has so much love for pharma companies. BJP MPs Etala Rajender, DK Aruna and key leaders of the party went to the Central Jail in Sangareddy district on Monday and met 16 people who were in jail in the Lagacharla case.
Speaking on the occasion, Aruna said they had been worrying for eight months that the land would not be given to the pharma company in Lagacharla village. She said the farmers were angry when the officials said they would grab their land by force. She said the farmers had boycotted the plebiscite. She said the violent incident happened because of the failure of the police. She said after this incident, the police came into the villages at night and attacked the villagers as they pleased. She was angry that the Congress party had left them and arrested the others in the incident of the fight.
