Hyderabad, Aug.21 (RAHNUMA): Four karate athletes from Telangana have been selected to represent India at the prestigious 2026 AKF Cadet, Junior & U-21 Asian Karate Championship to be held in Amman, Jordan, from September 4 to 11.
Telangana Sports Karate-Do Association President, TPCC President and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud felicitated and congratulated the selected athletes at the MLA Quarters in Hyderabad on Friday.
The selected athletes are Vishal Reddy Amradi (-61 kg), Satya Teja Brahmandani (+66 kg), Nishtha Gangisetti (-61 kg) and Shashank Satvik Lanka (-52 kg).
Mahesh Kumar Goud wished the athletes success in the Asian-level competition and expressed hope that they would win medals and bring laurels to Telangana and the country. He also congratulated their parents and coaches for their support and encouragement.
