Hyderabad, June 24 (RAHNUMA): Ramavath Munilal, a second-year PhD scholar in Media and Communication at the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), Hyderabad, participated in an interactive meeting with President of India Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi.
The programme, organized by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs as part of nationwide celebrations of Janajatiya Garima Utsav and “Birsa Lives in New Bharat Week”, brought together tribal scholars, students and achievers from across the country.
Munilal also toured Rashtrapati Bhavan and its museum, gaining insights into India’s democratic and diplomatic heritage. Hailing from a tribal hamlet, he described the interaction with the President as a transformative experience that strengthened his commitment to academic excellence and community development.
He said such initiatives inspire students from tribal and marginalized communities to pursue higher education, leadership and public service.
