Hyderabad, May 18 (RAHNUMA): In response to reports indicating that some websites and social media platforms are sharing a document named “GHMC 2026 – 300 Wards Reservations Proposed List,” which allegedly outlines ward reservation information, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has stated that this document is entirely unauthorized, unofficial, and fraudulent.
In a statement here on Monday, it stated that the GHMC neither released nor shared any such reservation list or related data with any private individual, website, organisation, or media platform.
“The information being circulated does not have any authenticity or approval from the competent authority of GHMC or the government publication and dissemination of such unverified content is misleading the public and creating unnecessary confusion,” the GHMC said.
The GHMC strongly condemned the unauthorised publication of such fabricated data and reserves the right to initiate appropriate legal and cybercrime action against the persons/entities responsible for publishing and circulating the same. In this regard a FIR has been booked against such websites
Citizens, public representatives, media organisations, and stakeholders are advised not to rely upon or circulate such fake and unauthorised information. Any official information relating to GHMC matters will be communicated only through authorised government/GHMC channels.
