Governor felicitates differently-abled artist for exceptional foot-painted portrait

Hyderabad, June 2 (RAHNUMA): Amid the grandeur of the Telangana State Formation Day celebrations held at Samskruthi Community Hall, Lok Bhavan on Tuesday, a touching gesture by a differently-abled young woman emerged as one of the most memorable moments of the day.

The occasion witnessed an emotional interaction between Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla and Mule Vaishnavi, a junior assistant with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), whose remarkable artistic talent and unwavering determination left a lasting impression on everyone present.

Despite physical challenges, Vaishnavi has never allowed her disability to define her aspirations. Using her feet as an instrument of creativity, she has developed exceptional skills in painting and has become a source of inspiration to many.

A great admirer of Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, Vaishnavi wished to express her respect and affection in a unique manner. To mark Telangana State Formation Day, she painstakingly created a portrait of the Governor using only her toes and nurtured a simple yet heartfelt dream to present it personally to him.

That dream came true during the celebrations.

As Vaishnavi presented the portrait she had painted with her feet, the gathering witnessed a deeply moving moment. Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla and his wife Janaki Shukla, were visibly touched by the gesture and the extraordinary effort behind it.

The Governor lauded Vaishnavi’s talent, perseverance, and indomitable spirit. Appreciating her ability to overcome adversity and excel in the field of art, he described her as an inspiring example of courage and determination.

In recognition of her achievement, the Governor and the First Lady felicitated Vaishnavi, presenting her with a memento and a cash incentive. They conveyed their blessings and wished her continued success in all her future endeavours.

The moment was more than a ceremonial felicitation. It served as a powerful reminder that physical limitations need not constrain human potential, and that determination can transform challenges into achievements.

The portrait presented by Vaishnavi was not merely a work of art. It was a heartfelt expression of admiration, gratitude, resilience, and self-belief, a gift that reflected the strength of the human spirit and added a deeply emotional dimension to Telangana’s Formation Day celebrations.
