
Hyderabad, April 26 (RAHNUMA): Minister for Roads & Buildings and Cinematography Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Sunday said the government is committed to ensuring prosperity and well-being for every family with the blessings of Vasavi Matha.
Participating as chief guest in the Vasavi Matha Jayanti celebrations held at Ramakoti Stupa Temple in Beat Market and Gandhi Park in Nalgonda town on Sunday, the Minister said the first official observance of the Jayanti after the formation of the people’s government holds special significance.
Announcing key development initiatives, he stated that ₹500 crore has been allocated for the development of Basara and Kaleshwaram temples as well as Godavari Pushkarams.
Recalling long-pending assurances, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said 120 square yards of land for the Ramakoti Temple and another 120 square yards for expansion, along with the Dhwajasthambam, have been provided.
He said the promise of establishing a fruit market in front of the temple has been fulfilled.
The Minister said ongoing works at the Ramalayam in the town are progressing and will be completed up to Uttar Dwara Darshan by next year. He participated in Kumkumarchana and Abhishekam rituals conducted by the Arya Vysya community at Gandhi Park and offered special prayers.
Komatireddy Venkat Reddy assured full support for reconstruction of the building at Gandhi Park and said road access issues would be resolved after relocation of the DMHO office. Further, he announced that development works of Ramalayam, Anjaneya Swamy Temple, and the Shiva temple at Brahmangari Gutta will be completed within two months with an outlay of ₹100 crore.
Highlighting support for local traders, the Minister said steps have already been initiated for the development of Prakasham Bazaar and more measures will follow. He reiterated that the government is committed to the town’s growth through devotion, service, and development.
