Hyderabad, Jan.2 (RAHNUMA): The 359th Prakash Purab of Guru Gobind Singh , the 10th Sikh Guru and founder of the Khalsa Panth, will be celebrated on a grand scale at Tivoli Gardens in Secunderabad on January 4, 2026.
According to GSS Prabhandak Committee, President S Baldev Singh Bagga, General Secretary S Jagmohan Singh and Secretary, Harpreet Singh Gulati, a ‘Vishaal Deewan’ (mass congregation) will be organised by the Prabhandak Committee, Gurdwara Sahib, Secunderabad, from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm, with participation from hundreds of devotees and people of other faiths.
Renowned Ragi Jathas, including Bhai Sarabjit Singh (Patna Sahib Wale), Giani Jaswinder Singh (former Head Granthi, Sri Darbar Sahib), Giani Jagdev Singh, and Bhai Varjinder Singh, will render Gurbani Kirtans and Kathas highlighting the teachings of Sikh Gurus.
The celebrations will conclude with Guru Ka Langar. Speakers recalled the supreme sacrifices of Guru Gobind Singh Ji in protecting the oppressed and upholding righteousness.
