Hyderabad/ Tanuku, Feb.5 (RAHNUMA): Organizers of a landmark candlelight event in Tanuku, West Godavari district, have received prestigious recognition from the Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records for successfully attempting the “Largest Human Formation of a Star Using Candles” on December 15, 2025.
The record certificates were presented at Pocharam, Hyderabad, by former Director General of Police (DGP) of United Andhra Pradesh, Noel Swarnajit Sen (IPS), along with Dr. J. Chiranjeevi, Founder of Ashirwad Global Learning Center.
Rt. Rev. Bishop Dr. Mathew Meagher and Rev. O. Manoj Bob received the honors on behalf of the organizing team, alongside key contributors including Rev. G. Timothy Raju, Bishop B. David Raju, Rev. A. Sam Bob, Rev. R. Salmon Joseph, Rev. E. Vijay Prasad, Rev. P. I. Brenham, Rev. K. Blessing Raju, Rev. K. S. Raju, Rev. K. David Babu, Rev. A. Reddiah, Rev. S. Krupavaram, Rev. G. Joshua, and Rev. B. Yesu Ratnam.
The visually striking formation symbolized unity, peace, and collective responsibility, drawing widespread appreciation from dignitaries and record authorities. Organizers thanked the volunteers and participants, stating that the recognition reflects teamwork and community spirit while inspiring future social awareness initiatives.
