RIYADH, 11 December: The Saudi Arabian Scouts Association joined in International Anti-Corruption Day on Monday by distributing brochures and materials to raise awareness of the value of integrity.
Association Secretary-General Abdulrahman Al-Mudaris said the association was committed to its annual participation in the occasion, which was designated by the UN General Assembly to foster a culture of integrity within society.
Their efforts included encouraging the adoption and practice of integrity while reinforcing the religious, ethical and national principles that inspire the Saudi community to uphold it, he added.
Al-Mudaris said the initiative also sought to motivate scouts, leaders and community members to embrace the principles of integrity and raise awareness about strategies for safeguarding it. It also aims to guide the community on effective and secure measures to combat corruption.
Activities will continue until Dec. 19, he added.
