Sircilla, April 23 (RAHNUMA): BRS state general secretary and former minister T. Jeevan Reddy on Thursday asserted that BRS chief and former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) remains committed to safeguarding Telangana’s future, alleging that the Congress government is ruling through “conspiracies and machinations”.
Addressing a media conference at the BRS office in Sircilla, he said the recent Jagtial public meeting had become a “guiding force” for the people. Raising the slogan, “CM must go, KCR must return”, he intensified political rhetoric against Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
Jeevan Reddy described the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project as the lifeline of Telangana and claimed that the recent High Court verdict was a “setback” to the ruling Congress government. He further alleged that attempts to implicate KCR, Harish Rao and officials in legal cases had failed.
BRS district president Thota Agayya and several party functionaries were present.
