Hyderabad, July 23 (NSS): BRS party working president KTR today spoke on a condolence resolution moved in the State assembly to mourn the death of party’s former MLA Lasya Nandita. He recalled the services of Lasya and said they made Lasya win from Kavadiguda municipal division in GHMC elections in recognition to the services of her father and former party MLA G. Sayanna. He said the demise of Lasya Nandita was a matter of great sorrow. “The death of a father and daughter within a year is a matter of great sorrow to hear the news and it is only painful to think about how the family has dealt with this situation,” he said.
He said their party leader KCR had promised in the assembly that he would stand by Sayanna’s family. “Sayanna’s services were supported by the party and Lasya won and came to the assembly. Lasya Nandita, who wanted to do public service like Sayanna, got a good opportunity. Even a week before Lasya’s car accident, there was also an accident in a public meeting in Nalgonda,” he said.
KTR said in the Cantonment by-election, the party had again allotted a seat to Sayanna’s other daughter, but unfortunately lost the elections. He said the BRS would stand by Sayanna’s family, who had lost a father and daughter.
