
New Delhi, Telangana: President Droupadi Murmu virtually inaugurated the Visitor Facilitation Centre (VFC) at Rashtrapati Nilayam in Telangana on Wednesday, aiming to foster a deeper connection between people and the diverse heritage of India.
During her address, the president emphasized the historical significance of Rashtrapati Nilayam, highlighting its various attractions such as a towering 120-feet replica of a historic wooden flagpost, a mesmerizing Jai Hind stepwell, an enchanting maze garden, a delightful children’s park, and captivating Shiva and Nandi bull sculptures in the rock garden. These attractions are poised to provide visitors with an immersive experience into the cultural tapestry of the nation.
The establishment of the VFC marks yet another significant stride towards bridging the gap between people and India’s rich heritage, remarked Murmu, as stated in a press release by the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
