Hyderabad, June 19 (RAHNUMA): Hyderabad DCC President Syed Khalid Saifullah on Friday celebrated Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi’s birthday by participating in a series of public welfare and service programmes across the city.
Saifullah distributed fruits to patients at the Urban Community Health Centre in Jangammet, Falaknuma, and conveyed birthday greetings to Rahul Gandhi, praising his commitment to social justice, democratic values and the welfare of marginalized communities.
Later, he joined Panchayat Raj and Women & Child Welfare Minister Seethakka at the inauguration of a Model Anganwadi-cum-Crèche Centre at Arundhati Nagar in Chandrayangutta. The facility, established under the “SBIF Muskaan” initiative with support from SBI Foundation and Mobile Crèches, aims to provide quality childcare services for working women and urban families.
Addressing the gathering, Seethakka highlighted the importance of early childhood care and urged parents to enroll eligible children in Anganwadi and childcare centres. She encouraged women to utilize government-backed interest-free loans for entrepreneurship and economic empowerment.
Extending his wishes to Rahul Gandhi, Saifullah said the Congress leader’s vision of inclusive development and constitutional values continues to inspire millions, particularly youth, women and disadvantaged sections.
