
New Delhi, May 19 (RAHNUMA): Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Tuesday chaired a high-level review meeting to assess preparations for the upcoming NEET (UG) Re-Examination and directed the officials to ensure foolproof conduct under stringent security protocols.
The Minister stressed that all shortcomings identified in the earlier examination process must be completely addressed to ensure transparency and integrity in the re-examination. He instructed authorities to conduct the exam in a secure, seamless and tightly monitored manner.
Pradhan also directed the officials to hold coordination meetings with the District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police across the states for effective monitoring and implementation of examination arrangements.
Emphasising that vigilance at examination centres should remain uncompromised, he further instructed the authorities to ensure adequate student facilities, including transportation, drinking water and other essential amenities.
