
Hyderabad, July 18 (RAHNUMA): Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy felicitated NEET rankers from the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGSWREIS) and Asian athletics gold medallist Sai Pravalika at the MCRHRD Institute in Hyderabad on Saturday.
The Chief Minister congratulated the TGSWREIS students who secured outstanding ranks in the NEET examination. He also felicitated Sai Pravalika, who won the gold medal in the women’s 4×400-metre relay event at the inaugural Asian Under-23 Athletics Championships 2026.
Adluri Lakshman Kumar, the Minister for Social Welfare, who was also in attendance, emphasised that each success stemming from the Gurukul system is a testament to the impactful educational reforms implemented by the government. He attributed these achievements to the Chief Minister’s forward-thinking guidance, the steadfast dedication of educators, and the profound confidence placed in the system by parents.
“These achievements belong not merely to individual students or their families; they are a matter of immense pride for the entire State of Telangana. They stand as living testimony to the power of inclusive and equitable education,” the Minister remarked.
He explained that the State government has developed the Gurukul ecosystem into a comprehensive model of excellence by providing high-quality academic instruction, nutritious and wholesome food, state-of-the-art residential facilities, digital learning infrastructure, and specialised coaching for highly competitive examinations such as NEET, JEE and the Civil Services, under the guidance of experienced faculty members and subject experts.
Congratulating Sai Pravallika on her remarkable international achievement, Adluri Laxman Kumar remarked that Gurukul students are proving their mettle not only in academics but also in international sporting arenas.
Vijayaendra Boyi, Principal Secretary, Scheduled Castes Development Department; Kambhampati Sarada, Secretary (FAC), TGSWREIS; Sakru Naik, Joint Secretary (academics); and other senior officials were also present on the occasion.
