Suryapet, Sept.8 (NSS): Suryapet MLA and former minister G. Jagadish Reddy today alleged that the Congress government had completely failed in terms of administration and floods.
Speaking to media persons at the MLA’s camp office in Suryapet district headquarters, he criticised the Congress government for failing to implement its promises and added that the farm loan waiver promise had become a mess in Telangana. Claiming that ₹. 10,000 crore has not been waived off so far by the State government, he demanded clarity on the loan waiver from it. “The government is deceiving farmers in the matter of the loan waiver scheme. It has completely failed on all fronts,” he alleged. He also claimed that the power crisis had started like before 2014. He alleged that the State ministers were focusing on making personal earnings by leaving the administration to the winds.
He said the farmers were struggling due to lack of investment assistance and crop compensation. He criticised the government for not having a prior plan on the floods. The flood victims are still living in the mud, he said. He demanded that the farmers who have suffered losses due to the floods should be helped. He claimed that attacks were being carried out on the Opposition party leaders to cover up their mistakes. He demanded that the loan waiver scheme should be applied without paying the money above the limit Rs 2 lakh.
