
Hyderabad, May 23 (RAHNUMA): Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy laid the foundation stones for temple-related development works worth ₹99.55 crore at the holy shrine of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy in Yadagirigutta on Saturday.
The proposed projects include the establishment of a Vedic School with an investment of ₹43.80 crore, the construction of the Lord’s Nitya Kalyana Mandapam on the hill for ₹9.87 crore, and the erection of a canopy over the steps connecting the Vaikuntha Dwaram to the hilltop at a cost of ₹1.41 crore. Additionally, steps will be built leading to the Mada Veedhis (processional streets) next to the Rathashala (Chariot Hall) for ₹1.35 crore, along with the construction of dormitory halls and a facility for devotees observing Deeksha at a total expense of ₹43.12 crore.
The Chief Minister participated in the groundbreaking ceremony alongside the Pontiff of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham, Jagadguru Sankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamy.
The event was attended by Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy; Ministers Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Konda Surekha, and Adluri Laxman Kumar; MPs Vem Narender Reddy and Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy; as well as MLAs, MLCs, and senior officials.
